For me, PINK has always been a symbol of hope.

I was always known as the guy in the homicide squad that would wear a pink tie, pink socks, or a pink dress shirt. It was a reminder to me to be optimistic, to keep striving for good, and to not lose myself in a career that was all too often characterized by death and hopelessness. When designing my merchandise I wanted to share that piece of myself and wanted to ensure that the colour pink was front and center. Perhaps pink can be that reminder of hope for others, too.

To spread more hope in the world, fifteen percent of every purchase of the SR project merchandise will go to supporting a good cause. The cause I have partnered with for this initial line of merchandise is the Assaulted Women's Helpline, a round-the-clock crisis helpline for women in need.
